Executive Coordinator of the Dutch Taiko Heritage Foundation

Patrick Streng serves as the Executive Coordinator of the Dutch Taiko Heritage Foundation. With a background in both taiko performance and music education, he brings a unique combination of organizational skill, cultural insight, and pedagogical expertise to the foundation.

Patrick has been a taiko performer with Circle Percussion since 2002, where he was also trained. Beyond his musical role, he is widely recognized for his extensive experience in music education, having worked with children and youth of all ages across numerous schools. His deep understanding of how to engage young people through music makes him an invaluable partner in the foundation’s educational mission.

While his role is primarily internal, Patrick acts as a key connector between board members, advisors, and project teams. During public activities and events, he assumes business leadership, ensuring structure, clarity, and a professional execution. His steady presence and inclusive approach reflect the foundation’s vision of fostering connection through authentic cultural expression.
