Creative Advisor for Artistic Development and Contemporary Engagement

Marit Oudshoorn serves as the Creative Advisor for Artistic Development and Contemporary Engagement within the Dutch Taiko Heritage Foundation. As the youngest member of the foundation, Marit brings a fresh and vital perspective that contributes to the development of projects that connect with new generations.

Currently completing her studies at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam (2025), Marit specializes in theatre and musical theatre. Her artistic vision and creative energy are central to the foundation’s stage-based and educational projects.

Within the foundation, Marit is responsible for the artistic quality and conceptual design of both performances and cultural initiatives. Her contribution ensures that the artistic voice of the foundation remains authentic, forward-thinking, and artistically resonant within today’s cultural landscape.
